“Vernet has been designed to reflect the highly prestigious and professional profile of its corporate occupants.”
Serving as the Parisian headquarters of a Congolese commodity trading and mining company, this 8th arrondissement office interior has been designed to reflect the highly prestigious and professional profile of its corporate occupants.
The client’s long and distinguished history, the site’s internationally-renowned location, as well as its existing classical interior-architectural proportions, influenced the choice of luxurious finishes as well as the quality and degree of interior detailing. A palette of refined natural materials, including walnut, marble and brass, has been applied throughout the internal programme, extending the existing architectural identity of the company’s suite of corporate head offices already established around the globe.
The colour palette, while pared down and neutral, is offset by the warm tint and plush texture of soft furnishings, organically-inspired light fixtures and subtle washes of recessed illumination—creating an atmosphere that facilitates productivity as much as it invites comfort and workplace wellbeing.
